Aetacridini lactas solutio 0,1% (Rivanoli solutio), sterile, 380ml
Sterile solution of ethacridine-lactate (Rivanola) 0, 1%
Water solution of rivanol (0, 1%) has antiseptic and bacteriostatic effect. Rivanol belongs in the group of acridine colors which are strong antiseptics and it is particularly effective against bacteria, especially from the groups of streptococcus and staphylococcus. What distinguishes it amongst other antiseptics, its bactericide effect isn’t mollifies by presence of proteins of serum, but on the contrary, it rises.
It is used as a preparation for the disinfection of skin, nose mucous membrane and wounds.
It is used:
• For cleaning wounds
• For burns of smaller degree
• For wounds treatment after episiotomy: accelerates wound healing, provides pleasant feeling of cooling, mollifies swelling, prevents for infection.
• For washing ear canal (in cases of more serious ear inflammation)
Solution of rivanol is predicted for external use for both adults and children.
For application on skin, nose mucous membrane and cleaning wounds is used non-diluted 0, 1% solution.

Nafazolin hydrochloryde solutio 1‰, 10ml
Nafazolin nose drops for adults
Nafazolin nose drops (1‰) are a decongestive, which means it mollificates symptoms of nose occlusion and increased sputum. Nafazolin-hydrochloryde tightens widened capillaries in the nose mucous membrane. With diminution of blood currency mollifies swelling and sputum in nose mucous membrane, increases passabillity of nostril and easier drainage of sputum from sinuses. Nafazolin nose drops 1‰ acts fast, within 5 minutes from dropping into nose and the effect lasts 2-6 hours.
They are used for:
– Acute and chronically rhinitis
– Rhinosinuzitis
– Inflammation of the middle ear combined with a flu
– Nose bleeding
– Preparation for rhinological examination

Nafazolin nose drops 1‰ are predicted for the external-nasal use of adults. These nose drops in most cases are easy to bare and, if applied correctly, rarely provoke any side effect. Applying of too large doses or too frequent use may provoke local irritation of nose mucous membrane followed by painful prickle, sneezing and feeling of dryness.
Too long application of this medicine can provoke reactive hyperemia (rubor and swelling) nose mucous membrane and atrophic rhinitis! If some side effect becomes serious or you notice some side effect that is not listed in the medicine instruction, you should inform a doctor or a pharmacist.
If not prescribed differently by doctor, in both nostrils drop and 1 – 2 drops of solution within 4-6 hours, for maximum 5 days continuously. After dropping of solution nostrils are gently squeezed and you should maintain that position for short period. If nose occlusion still lasts and the treatment should be continued, there should be a pause of 3-5 days.

Nafazolin hydrochloride solutio 0, 5‰, 10ml
Nose drops for children
Nafazolin nose drops (0, 5‰) are a decongestive, which means it mollificates symptoms of nose occlusion and increased sputum. Nafazolin-hydrochloryde tightens widened capillaries in the nose mucous membrane. With diminution of blood currency mollifies swelling and sputum in nose mucous membrane, increases passabillity of nostril and easier drainage of sputum from sinuses. Nafazolin nose drops 0, 5‰ acts fast, within 5 minutes from dropping into nose and the effect lasts 2-6 hours.
They are used for:
– Acute and chronically rhinitis
– Rinosinuzitis
– Inflammation of the middle ear combined with a flu
– Nose bleeding
– Preparation for rhinological examination

The medicine is predicted for the external-nasal use of children which are more than six years old.
If not prescribed differently by doctor, to children older than 6, in both nostrils drop and 1 – 2 drops of solution within 6 hours, for maximum 5 days continuously. After dropping of solution nostrils are gently squeezed and you should maintain that position for short period. If nose closure still lasts and the treatment should be continued, there should be a pause of 3-5 days.

Hydrogenii peroxidi solutio diluta, 1000ml
Diluted hydrogen-peroxide
Hydrogen (hydrogen peroxide) is unstable coadunation of oxygen and hydrogen which spontaneously decomposes on water and nascent oxygen, special form of very reactive oxygen. Antiseptic and disinfection effect of hydrogen peroxide is based on action of this nascent oxygen, which is strong mean for oxidation and oxidates microorganisms, but also epidermal cells of skin. Because of that the important thing is the concentration of the used hydrogen peroxide. 3% solution of hydrogen peroxide has antiseptic and disinfection effect. Antiseptics are used in smaller concentrations, and acts in the way that prevents grow and development of microorganisms, they are bacteriostatics. If there are larger concentrations then we call them desinfecienses. They kill microorganisms and they are bactericides.
Basic uses of of diluted hydrogen peroxide (3%) are:
– Skin disinfection and cleaning of wounds
– Washing of throat and mucous membrane
For skin disinfection and cleaning of wounds is used non diluted hydrogen peroxide (3%), and for washing of throat and mucous membranes solution of hydrogen peroxide (3%) diluted in proportion 1:10.

Aethanolum dilutum, 1000ml
Diluted ethanol (70%)
Diluted ethanol has best antiseptic effect in concentration of 70%. By increasing of concentration its antiseptic effect mollifies. It achieves antiseptic action by denaturation of cell membranes.
It is also used for disinfection of work surfaces, instruments and skin.
Alcohol claddings are used for diminution of the high body temperature.
Ethanol is used as antidote in case of a methanol poisoning, because by competitive inhibition it prevents transition of methanol in formaldehyde and formic acid.
